New Oreo flavor hailed as phenomenal by drooling fans online
Oreos combined with a churro might have been the smartest snacking decision ever as early reviews dub the flavor as phenomenal.
Churros are a type of fried dough that are prevalent in Spanish and Portuguese cultures. They have risen to new popularity in recent years, largely due to interest on social media apps like TikTok.
Delicious might be an understatement
Following a successful campaign with Oreo-flavoured churros in 2014, the cookie company reenvisioned the treat with its typical circular branding. Aesthetically, the only major difference was the beige coloring.
These start with a Fried Dough Flavored Cookie which then has a filling that is Churro flavored and then the cookie has Sugar Inclusions to give that cinnamon sugar texture, they were described earlier this week.
While they officially hit the shelves on March 27, earlier reviews have already started to stream in.
Snackolator, which teased previous releases like the spicy McNuggets and Wendys orange dreamsicle, was lucky enough to try the new treats on Tuesday. He posted a review to his 221k followers on Instagram.
“To cut to the chase: these are phenomenal. The sugar inclusions are in the cookie and creme which give it this really fun cinnamon sugar crunch like you get on a fried churro along with the cookie having that slightly doughy taste against the cinnamon sugar of the creme,” the Instagram foodie page raved.
I almost felt like I detected a tiny bit of cookie butter in the creme and my wife thought maybe something like gingerbread, but either way these have a really nice depth of flavor *and* texture which make them so fun, he said. I’ve been craving a cinnamon sugar option since Cinnamon Bun was discontinued, and I think this is it!
He added: Overall I’d give these like a 9/10 because I love the flavor and I love the crunch… if you like cinnamon sugar you will love these.

Many of Snackolators followers confessed to already spotting these at various stores, with some suggesting they had purchased several packets.
