Move over Stanley Cups, KFC now has its own range of drinking and eating vessels
Stanley Cups might be the preferred drinking vessel of the American public, but that was before KFC launched their own in a partnership with award-winning drinkware company Corkcicle.
What began as the fantasy of Colonel Sanders in 1952 is now the second most successful fast food chain with over 30,000 restaurants worldwide. Alongside other food giants like McDonald’s, KFC has dominated the industry with yummy releases like the waffle burger.

The Stanley Cup has some new competition
If you’re a passionate fan of KFC or your Stanley X Starbucks cup has reached its end, then it might be time to bring the Finger Lickin’ Good home.
Enter Corkcicle, an award-winning company known for its stylish drinkware that has teamed up with the KFC for a collection available from August 27.
“We’re delighted to partner with KFC to bring our customers something like we’ve never done before that is truly special,” said Stephen Bruner, Corkcicle Co-Founder and Co-CEO. “KFC is an iconic global brand that everyone has some connection to. It has been a blast to create some very fun products in bringing our two brands together for this collab.”
The exciting new partnership has already birthed three new products, the KFC x Corkcicle Cruiser, KFC x Corkcicle Canteen, and the KFC x Corkcicle Ice (or hot chicken) Bucket.
In a press release on Wednesday, the Cruiser was described as a triple-insulated tumbler that can keep your drinks cold for up to 20 hours.
For the adventurers, the heavy-duty canteen is perfect for your summer activities. It can keep drinks cold for 25 hours and comes with a quick sip cap and a folding handle.
Last up is the bucket, which looks exactly like the one you’d receive your chicken in at KFC. It can keep ice fresh for 48 hours, or keep your wings piping hot.
While Stanley Cups might come in an array of fun colors, the KFC X Corkcicle collab is decorated in KFC iconography and images of fried chicken. We are getting hungry just looking at them.
More in KFC this week
In slightly less positive news, a poll from Fast Company found the five best and five worst KFC restaurants in America.
Coming at the very bottom was the KFC in Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) where customers complained of poor service.
Very rude people, poor overpriced menu. Avoid it if you can. Messed up the simple order in the limited menu. Just sad. Eating there made me feel sad. I feel sorry for anyone that has to suffer this place, one review read.
