The beloved Stanley Cup may have been unseated as Gen Z’s favorite merch after they laid their eyes on the viral Uniqlo bag for just $19.
Over the last year, Stanley Cups have risen to new heights of popularity, quickly becoming one of the most favored brands in America. With enough variations to match everyone’s personal styles, including Black Chroma and Rosa, there was seemingly no curbing the Stanley Cup craze – until now.
Gen Z can’t get enough of the viral Uniqlo bag
Despite being readily available and priced at a reasonable point, the Uniqlo Round Shoulder Mini Bag has been an instant hit with Gen Z. Much like the popular Trader Joe’s bag from earlier in the year, the Uniqlo banana bag is subtle, minimalist, and somewhat boring compared to other highly demanded products.
As reported by the New York Post, the viral Uniqlo bag was released back In 2020 when it immediately flew off the shelves. Popularity only increased the following year when Lyst named the bag the hottest product of their first quarter.
The bag also comes in just about every color imaginable from olive green to beige, floral patterned to red corduroy. With so much versatility packed into its tiny frame, it should come as no surprise that the banana bag is worn by women, men, and even kids.

Why does TikTok love the bag?
On social media, fashion-savvy users have declared that the Uniqlo Round Shoulder Mini Bag is the must-have item for summer, largely thanks to its versatility. Be warned though, as some people have reported not being able to stop purchasing the bag in different colors.
“Its like a Mary Poppins bag it fits sooo much,” one person wrote on the video-sharing app.
Another person celebrated the Uniqlo half moon bag, as they exclaimed: “I have it in black and beige and the only downside of this bag is that once you have it youll never wear your other bags ever again lol.”
“I can fit my Kindle in my Uniqlo bag and its a huge selling point tbh,” someone else revealed.
