Men leave messages to women who broke their hearts and it’ll stop you in your tracks

Men experience heartbreak too. Maybe they don’t show it as well as their female counterparts, but they are hurt just as much.

A long-lost love or a spouse of years, losing a loved one can affect men as profoundly as any loss impacts an average human. Although the natural emotions are shunned, they take a long time to heal from the romantic heartbreak. The comment section under a TikTok video is filled with heartfelt messages from men hurt in love.

TikTok video prompts men to talk about heartbreak

Going through a breakup is one thing; opening up about it is a roller coaster ride. One bad relationship experience may force men to close off emotionally, to protect themselves from such experiences if any.

Whereas, for some, the memories of first love are etched in their minds, and they continue to sing praises of it until their last breath. That’s what happened when a TikTok video prompted men to leave messages to women who broke their hearts.

The comments are proof that men experience intense emotions like women do and they ruminate about their past love when not over it. The TikTok also sheds light on the fact that men believe in soulmates and true love, with some spending years to find “the one.”

Meanwhile, female TikTok users are surprised to see men open up about their emotions, which is undeniably uncommon, specifically on a public platform.

Emotional messages will tug at your heartstrings

Of course, different men perceive heartbreak in various ways – some think of it positively, others not so much.

In a message dedicated to their ex-lover, one user wrote: “You left me so broken God himself had to piece me back together.” Another added: “In the end I was right, I loved you more.”

Another comment as emotional as the ones above read: “I dont want to see you but I tend to look for you everywhere I go.”

“Maybe we’ll meet again when we are older and our minds less hectic, and I’ll be right for you and you will be right for me. But right now, I am chaos to your thoughts and you are poison to my heart,” wrote another.

Women extended their support to men who were still hurting from past love. One female user shared: “Heres a free hug to all the beautiful boys whose hearts got broken or hurt. Please feel free to take one.”
