Love them or hate them, clog brand Crocs is back with another luxury team-up, and shoppers are curious to know how much the new collab shoes will be.
The shoe manufacturer, which has previously collaborated with fashion house Balenciaga, has now joined forces with German luxury brand MCM.
The collab was announced this week as the fashion brand confirmed two designs of clogs would be released.
Now, some are curious to know how the luxury brand MCM’s price tag will be reflected in the new Crocs release. Let’s take a look…
Crocs team up with MCM
Clog brand Crocs has collaborated with German luxury fashion brand for two unique new shoes.
Founded in 1976, MCM may be familiar for its monogram leather pieces which feature the brand’s logo printed across.
The partnership between the two brands was announced over the weekend as MCM shared a video of the two designs across its Twitter and Instagram.
Talking of the collaboration to Women’s Wear Daily, Dirk Schönberger, who is the global brand officer at MCM Worldwide, described the clog designs as “unique must-have items in celebration of summer.”

The collaboration includes two clog-style releases, one yellow-style shoe as well as a black version.
The black clog design references the German brand’s classic leather designs as it incorporates the MCM logo on the back of the shoe and strap as well as via a small fanny pack on the front of the shoe.
The brand’s logo is also showcased in some luxurious 24K gold jibbitz charms, which are placed across the top of the shoe.
The second design contrasts the black version’s classic look as it is a vibrant yellow with black camouflage printed across.
The yellow edition also has some metallic features as silver-toned metal jibbitz also feature across the top of the shoe, while the adjustable strap is also decked out with a chain.

MCM X Crocs price tag reflects luxury brand
As MCM is a high-end fashion house, the collaboration’s price point may not come as much of a surprise to fans of the brand.
The black edition of the clog is priced at $390, while the yellow design is slightly cheaper at $330.
In the posts announcing the upcoming release of the MCM X Croc collaboration, it was revealed the shoes would be available exclusively at MCM stores as well as on the brand’s website.
It’s not the only luxury brand Crocs has collaborated with
Croc enthusiasts may be familiar with the clog brand’s collaborations with Balenciaga.
In 2018 the luxury fashion house released a high platform edition of the clog shoe which was covered in various jibbitz accessories.
More recently, a heeled version of a croc went viral after it featured in the brand’s spring 2022 collection alongside croc boots.
