McDonalds Wrapped is demoralising users by showcasing their McEating habits

Social media users are both shocked and horrified as fast food chain McDonalds launches their own version of Spotify Wrapped, complete with all the shaming statistics you might expect. 

2023 has undoubtedly been the year of self-reflection, thanks to the numerous companies now offering a look back at your year. Spotify was of course the first, but they are now joined by the likes of Audible, Monzo, Twitch, Steam, Playstation and Xbox. 

What is McDonalds Unbagged and how do you access it?

Just like it sounds, McDonalds unbagged is a brand new feature that allows Maccies fans to take a look back through 2023. Why you would want to know how much youve spent on nuggets is another question entirely.

Follow the instructions to your email inbox and you should have received the most telling wrapped of the year. Your first nugget of information, pardon the pun, should be your member style, which is essentially the type of customer you are. Reported styles include reward seeker and MVP redeemer. 

What statistics can you expect?

McDonalds app users will know that they are frequently offered the chance to redeem rewards, depending on how much they typically spend. First off, McDonalds reveals what your most redeemed item is, followed promptly by how many times youve redeemed. 

You will then find out which item is your most purchased, which of course varies from person to person. Some people like the fries, others the burgers, and shockingly, Fillet of Fish is also making an appearance. 

Users can also expect to see their most visited time of the day, their most frequented restaurant, their total savings and their preferred method of pickup.

Social media is in a frenzy over McDonald’s Wrapped

The sudden release of the new McDonalds feature has sent social media into a feeding frenzy. Many have taken to the likes of X, known as Twitter, to share their Unbagged with pride.
