McDonald’s Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder finally returning for a limited time after two years

McDonald’s has just announced that an old favorite is returning, the Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese!

The much-loved burger will be available at participating stores across the US for a limited time starting this week.

McDonald’s Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder returns

“Everyones favorite sandwich is back!” the fast food chain said.

The beef burger made its debut in 2022, and fans can now enjoy the Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese for a second time.

It’s McDonald’s take on a classic bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich with the addition of a 100% fresh beef Quarter Pounder patty.

The burger features two slices of American cheese, three half-strips of Applewood Smoked bacon, three fresh tomatoes, shredded lettuce and a smoky BLT sauce, all on a toasted sesame seed bun.

Their “smooth and creamy” BLT sauce is seasoned with paprika, parsley and black pepper, creating a sweet, tangy and garlicy sauce that has a “lingering smokiness”.

There will also be a Smoky BLT Double Quarter Pounder which is exactly the same but with two 100% fresh beef Quarter Pounder patties.

Both are launching on Wednesday, July 10 and will be available at participating McDonalds restaurants nationwide for a limited time while supplies last.

New Kit Kat McFlurry and anime Garlic Sauce

The sandwich is launching alongside a new Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry that will tingle your taste buds this summer.

It features their signature, creamy vanilla soft serve, blended with real banana, strawberry clusters and crunchy pieces of Kit Kat.

The new dessert arrives on July 10 too, but be quick because it will only be available for a limited time while supplies last.

McDonald’s has also partnered with popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen this week to release a Special Grade Garlic Sauce.

It features “garlic and soy sauce, balanced with a slight tangy sweetness” and is inspired by the Black Garlic Sauce from McDonald’s in Japan.

The dip is exclusively available on the McDonald’s app starting July 9, and you will get it for free with any order of Chicken McNuggets.
