McDonalds make unusual collaboration to bring you food-themed nail designs and colors

McDonalds has teamed up with Nails.INC for a rather strange collection of nail colors and stickers based on their most popular menu items.

While the team-up seems a little strange for McDonalds, this is not the first time the beloved restaurant has collaborated with brands not directly related to the food industry. Moschino, Vain, and Palace are but a few of the fashion brands to have pledged to the Golden Arches. On the celebrity side, the fast food chain previously worked with big names like Mariah Carey, Cardi B, Travis Scott, and Saweetie.

Im lovin it!

If youre a fan of the McDonalds branding colors, then its latest collaboration might be something for you to try. Its also guaranteed to make you hungry!

Teaming up with London-based company Nails.INC, which previously worked with White Claw, Froot Loops, and Magnum, McDonalds released four products incorporating iconic menu items like french fries and burgers.

For just $8.99, customers can purchase the nail polish and sticker duo, with the varnish itself in the brands iconic red. The tiny stickers contained in the pack include the golden arches, a Big Mac, fries, and a McDonalds cup.

The press-on nails, priced at $6.99, are a soft pinkish color with stickers already attached and ready to be flashed next time you head to your local McDonalds.

In a mouthwatering burger-shaped package comes miniature polishes in both red and brown for $8.99. The stickers are seemingly a deconstructed burger, with the added addition of the Im lovin it slogan.

Finally, again at $8.99, customers can pick up the gold heart nail topper, which comes in a jar featuring the McDonalds slogan.Sadly, there are no stickers of the iconic Shamrock Shake.

All of the products are currently available on Amazon.

Fans are divided by the collaboration

Admittedly, to pull off the nails youd need to have either a killer sense of humor or a bold sense of style. As such, the team-up has divided social media users, with some people put off by how overtly branded they are.

On Instagram, where pictures of the collaboration were shared, one person admitted: I don’t paint my fingernails. I bite my nails off. Soo no I won’t waste my money on this junk.

Oh my. Oddly cute, someone else countered.

The original poster wrote: Damn Boo, Im loving the little McFlurrys on your nails.
