Man finds his future wife in comments section of heart-wrenching video he posted about ‘being ugly’
The man behind the YouTube channel, Never Give Up, who went viral for sharing his experience of “Being ugly” with millions of people is now happily married to his “wonderful wife.” His story will tug at your heartstrings.
The YouTuber poured his heart out in a viral video from 2018 by admitting to feeling “lonely” and unable to find content with “unattractive” people that he could relate to. But he’s come a long way since, thanks to the same video that brought him and his future wife together.
YouTuber user who argued he was ‘ugly’ finds love
More than five years ago, the man behind the viral YouTube channel filmed himself while talking about his “unattractive” features.
He believed he wasn’t good-looking and never looked good in his entire life, let alone find a partner who would accept him wholeheartedly.
The video has gathered more than 20 million views for narrating the YouTube user’s ordeal as an “unattractive’ man, who would hide his features with long hair or other accessories.
The intention of the video wasn’t for people to judge if the man featured in the video was ugly or not. But, it rather tried to draw attention to discrimination against people who are considered unattractive for not meeting unrealistic beauty standards.
The man was feeling quite low and had been drinking to battle the emotions that were bogging him down. He was only surrounded by people that he thought looked better than him and it was an alien feeling he couldn’t resonate with.
But, his life changed for good when one of the viewers left the most heart-warming comment on his video; he’s now married to her.
Beautiful love story blossoms into marriage
A lot of people thanked the man for his video as they could relate to his struggles too, but one woman’s comment caught his attention.
The comment which is one pinned to the video was shared by his wife Juli Romina and it simply read: “I actually think you’re kinda cute tbh. I mean it.”
She reportedly reached out to her future husband via Discord and sparks soon started to fly between them. The duo was in a long-distance relationship until Juli flew out to Sweden to be with the love of her life.
The YouTuber and his girlfriend reportedly got married earlier this year. Shortly after the wedding, I remembered the first comment I ever made to him on his channel :p little did I know that the guy that popped up on my YouTube recommended and I thought he was very cute was going to be my husband,” Juli said.
The couple is happily married and the channel, Never Give Up, has many videos featuring their daily life and the loving relationship they share.
