Louisiana man encountered two Bigfoots with ‘face like a human’ and ‘roared like a lion’

Mike Wooley urged hunters and others to not engage with Bigfoot should they have an encounter after he came face to face with not just one, but two Sasquatches years ago.

Originally from Keatchie, Louisiana, Mike was in the woods to hunt deer when he ended up being “chased” by a creature that he claimed was a Bigfoot.

Mike Wooley’s terrifying encounters with a Bigfoot

In December 1981, Mike went deer hunting around 3 PM. The deer stand was about a mile and a half away from the highway. The hunter parked his truck about half a mile away from the stand so it didn’t split the deer. He walked barefoot the rest of the way.

While waiting at the stand facing north, he was confused to see a young deer running towards him, as if it was being chased by another animal.

Mike says no human could have walked in the path the deer came running from and it laid down touching the stand when it finally reached the spot where the man was waiting for more than half an hour.

At first, he thought a big buck had been running the deer, but when he raised his head slightly, through his peripheral vision, he saw a creature that looked like a gorilla. Mike claims it was anywhere between 7 and 8 feet tall, with long hair covering its body and a “face like a human.”

He knew there was no circus happening around the place for a gorilla to have escaped into the woods, so he naturally assumed it was a human in an ape costume.

But, when he went closer to “talk”, he soon realized he was witnessing a Sasquatch as it gave him a “sinister look”. Mike claims the Bigfoot “roared like a lion” baring its big flat teeth.

There were two of them

About 100 yards to the northeast, Mike heard a loud whistle, which seemed like a “signal to the growl”. The creature looked in the direction from where the whistle came and responded similarly before turning towards the man standing in front of it.

The hunter thought he was in “big trouble” when he sensed some movement in the woods after the Sasquatch in front of him whistled. Mike started to run towards his truck parked away from where he was standing because he knew whatever was signaling the Bigfoot was equally terrifying.

When he looked over his shoulder while approaching his vehicle, he could see the creature brushing against the tree so pacily that it could have easily got him.

He had to stop to unlock his truck but worried the Bigfoot might get him if he halted. So he decided to fire a warning shot. The bullet hit the bark of the tree and it blew in front of the Bigfoot’s face.

Mike used the opportunity to board his truck and started to drive. When he looked in the rear-view mirror, he saw two of them following him.

Having learned from his alleged experience with Bigfoot, Mike warns others to never make eye contact or point a gun at it.

He says one shouldn’t engage with the gigantic creatures under any circumstance because “if you do, you will lose.”
