You might have seen videos of Louis Vuitton’s 2022 advent calendar across your TikTok for you page – but what’s inside it?
As December draws closer, videos of the french luxury fashion house’s advent offering have circulated across TikTok as users have shared their delight at receiving a calendar of their own.
Following the recent posts, curiosity about what the designer calendars include has sparked online. Let’s take a look…
Louis Vuitton advent 2022 calendar unboxing’s take over TikTok
With December just days away, advent season is almost upon us, and some are ready to count down the days to Christmas with a Louis Vuitton calendar.
Videos of the fashion house’s festive offering have made their rounds as some users on TikTok have featured their calendars in videos.
One of the most viewed posts was by TikToker Anna Sitar, whose video has garnered almost two million views in less than 24 hours.
So, what’s actually inside the designer calendar?
While the french fashion house is known for its luxury bags and clothing, including both could cause sizing problems as the calendar is seen to countdown the days to Christmas.
Instead, the Louis Vuitton advent calendar features a series of different ornaments that can be used to add a designer touch to your Christmas tree.
TikTok user @savinchow shared a look at what the calendar offers in a video as she unboxed the full calendar and decorated her tree with the ornaments.
As stated in the video, @savinchow explains that the ornaments are made out of wood which have been carved and hand painted.
The video shows the calendar features a range of iconic festive designs, including holly, snowflakes, snowman, and Santa’s sleigh painted a mix of white, red, green, and gold.
The calendar is not a new thing and has been around for a few years now. Past versions, including the 2020 and the 2021 boxes, also included an assortment of different tree ornaments featuring similar designs.
The calendars are only sent to a select few
Unfortunately, the calendars are not available to regular shoppers and instead are only gifted to VIC’s (Very Important Client) or those who are close to or have connections to the brand.
A VIC is a regular shopper of the brand, and as explained by a former Louis Vuitton employee, to become one, you have to spend upwards of $60,000 annually.
Another way of potentially getting on the list is by having a close connection with Louis Vuitton. TikTok user @madbadting explained they are sent one each year personally from Francesca Amfitheatrof, who is the fashion house’s artistic director of watches and jewelry.
Elsewhere TikToker Anna Sitar who posted about receiving a calendar had previously worked closely with the brand as she attended Paris Fashion Week with Louis Vuitton last month.
