Krispy Kreme welcomes spring with mini doughnuts in four ‘egg-citing’ flavors
Krispy Kreme is ushering in spring with four new mini doughnuts that are as ‘egg-citing’ as they could get.
The doughnut company’s new edition is themed with the forthcoming festival of Easter and can be bought in stores or ordered online starting March 19 – the first day of spring.
Krispy Kreme announces spring mini doughnuts
Starting today for a limited time, Krispy Kreme will be selling four different flavors of mini donuts created to celebrate Spring. These include:
- Mini Birds Nest Doughnut – resembling an actual bird nest, the first from the mini edition consists of an Original Glazed doughnut, topped with chocolate buttercream and spring sprinkles, topped with Cadbury Mini Eggs.
- Strawberry Egg Doughnut – is made of a mini Original Glazed Doughnut, dipped in strawberry icing and white nonpareils, finished with chocolate and orange icing.
- Hatching Chick Doughnut – the Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in light yellow icing, white nonpareils, and finished with chocolate and orange icing.
- Robin’s Egg Doughnut – a mini Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in teal icing and daisy sprinkles.
You can buy the minis individually or as a specialty pack – a collection of 16.
This will include 4 Original Glazed doughnuts, 3 Mini Robins Egg doughnuts, 3 Mini Hatching Chick doughnuts, 3 Mini Strawberry Egg doughnuts, and 3 Mini Birds Nest.
Where to buy the seasonal treats
The new spring treats are available in-shop and for pick or delivery through the Krispy Kreme app or website.
They are available from now through March 31 at participating U.S. and Canadian Krispy Kreme locations. You can check if the Spring mini doughnuts are available in your nearest outlet using the store locator here.
The limited-edition mini doughnuts are also available in select grocery stores such as Walmart, Kroger, Food Lion, Publix, Stater Brothers, Wakefern, and more.
