Krispy Kreme is giving you another limited chance to eat their Kit-Kat range – but act fast

Krispy Kreme has surprised fans by reviving all three of the Kit-Kat doughnuts that were initially released in April earlier this year.

Krispy Kreme has had a busy 2024 so far after earlier releasing sweet treat collaborations with both Friends and the animated sensation, Pokemon. Though customers have a whole host of Krispy Kreme products they want to be made into reality, it seems the doughnut shop has other ideas.

Krispy Kreme’s Kit-Kat range is back!

The exciting news was shared on Tuesday by the fast-food news page, Snackolator, who last week shocked fans with a strange Cup Noodles flavor.

“Krispy Kreme believes in second chances, so they’re giving you a second chance for one week to grab their Krispy Kreme x Kit Kat doughnuts!” he penned in the caption.

The doughnuts are only available for a week starting from July 8, meaning you’ll have to get down there quickly while stocks last. There’s no telling when Krispy Kreme could bring back their Kit-Kat range.

The first returning flavor is the Kit-Kat Crunch Doughnut, described as an original glazed dipped in Hersheys chocolate and topped with Kit-Kat pieces and chocolate-flavored crispies.

Next up is the Kit-Kat Cookie Dream Filled Doughnut, which is filled with cookie dough flavored Kreme and topped with everything from cookie crumbles to Hersheys chips.

Last, but certainly not least, is one for the caramel lovers. The Kit-Kat Salted Caramel Brownie Doughnut is an original glazed with brownie batter flavored buttercreme and the relevant toppings.

Life is busy. Take a break with our new KIT KAT Collection. Every creamy, crispy, chocolatey-sweet bite will help turn that busy day into a sweet one, Krispy Kreme’s Dave Skena said in April.

The present was ill-recieved by some fans

While you might expect the American public to rejoice at the news of more doughnuts, some said the first release was a little lackluster.

“They werent anything special tbh. Ill stick to the OG glazed,” one person wrote beneath the post, as another echoed, “I had those a few years back. I didnt really enjoy it honestly.”

Reviews were similarly disappointed during the initial release, as one person penned on Twitter: “This is not it, if I want a candy bar I’ll go to 7-11, if I want a great donut I’ll go to Krispy Kreme and a get a hot one, adding processed candy to your donut gives it less value. How about we get some different flavor jelly donuts or preserves.”

“Too sweet. Actually I prefer a hot cinnamon donut. Krispy Kreme has a weird oily sort of taste,” someone else said.
