Internet divided as cleaning guru takes to scrubbing random graves
Once again the internet is embroiled in fierce debate after a cleaning influencer took to scrubbing the grime off random peoples graves.
Cleaning is like marmite, some people love it and some people utterly despise it despite the plethora of cleaning hacks available. The key to consistent cleaning seems to be setting a rigid schedule, though we realize that is easier said than done.
Cleaning in a graveyard is not for the faint-hearted

Though most parents fail when teaching kids to clean, The Clean Girl’s (@_the_clean_girl) parents might have done too good a job.
The blonde beauty has made a name for herself cleaning just about everything you could imagine, from cars to gardens, dirty trainers to bathrooms.
Recently, and no doubt after running out of original cleaning ideas, The Clean Girl turned her attention to arguably the dirtiest place on Earth, a graveyard. She has since posted several additions to the series.
In the most recent clip, which has accumulated 6.9 million likes and nearly 100 million views, the influencer rolled a ball alongside side graves with the one it stopped on being the lucky cleaning subject.
She started by spraying a bright pink cleaning foam onto the cross headstone as she pondered questions like how old is the grave? How did this grave get so dirty?
Upon scrubbing, you could see the layers of nasty grime being pulled away from the stone. When that didn’t suffice, she brought out the big guns in the form of a vacuum and leaf blower.
After doing some research, The Clean Girl found that a woman by the name of Maria Lugo Texidor was buried there. She already had two brothers, just like the content creator.
The influencer finished off her cleaning marathon by placing fresh flowers in the stone vases.
Not everyone thinks she is doing God’s work
While some have said that The Clean Girl is doing a brilliant job at remembering the deceased, honoring them in perhaps the only way she can, others have accused her of trying to profit from the morbid activity.
“It might seem disrespectful, but imagine being a family member and coming to visit and arriving to a beautiful and clean grave. Id feel so happy,” one person argued.
Another said: “I guess it’s fine to just clean it but something about her changing the flowers and taking away the other sorts of plants on it doesnt feel right.”
Someone else echoed: “Respect for honoring those who came before us. Your kindness and dedication are inspiring. Thank you for preserving these memories and reminding us of the importance of remembering our loved ones.”
