Inspirational speaker’s quick trick to find your purpose in life will open your eyes
With the mundane routines of everyday life, it’s easy to go through each day feeling like you don’t have a purpose.
Why am I here? What am I doing? A motivational speaker has shared a quick trick to find your purpose that will open your eyes.

Quick trick to find your purpose on life
Purpose is the “invisible compass” that guides us through life and leads us to fulfilment and meaning, Calm explains.
Simon Sinek said you can “find your why” by doing something he calls “the friends exercise”. All you have to do is ask one of your closest friends this really simple question: “Why are we friends?”
“Your WHY is a statement of who you are that sums up what inspires you and the value
you offer the world,” Sinek reveals.
They are going to look at you like you’re insane and then start describing you, saying things like “You’re always there for me” and “I trust you”.
However, that’s just the definition of a good friend. You then need to ask: “What specifically is it about me that makes us friends?”
It may take a while, but you need to keep on pushing them and eventually, they will put into words the value you have in their life.
“You will have an emotional response,” Sinek said. “You’ll either well up with tears or you will get goosebumps. And that’s how you know you found your why.”
Hearing those positive things about yourself will give your a purpose and reveal why you are truly here on this earth.
Why you need purpose in life
Finding your purpose will make you happier and give you greater enjoyment and contentment in life, which could have amazing effects on your health too.
One 2010 study in Applied Psychology found that people with good “eudemonic well-being,” a type of happiness that is achieved through meaningful purpose in life, tend to live longer.
A similar study found that people with the strongest well-being were 30% less likely to die during the eight years follow-up period.
More research suggests that having a purpose results in fewer strokes and heart attacks, better sleep, and a lower risk of dementia and disabilities.
