Alex was rescued three years ago

Alex was rescued by a couple in 2020. Josh Row and Kei Kato found him in a meat market in Modesto, California.

The Flemish hare weighs 30 pounds and is believed to do a lot of charity work, besides wooing everyone with his charm and style. Yes, he has his own electric car, too!

The pet bunny became a people favorite in no time when he started to tag along with his parents to events, which he’s attended in plenty.

The couple who own a restaurant in Dogpatch, San Francisco, told SWNS:

“So when we got Alex, we thought why not bring him along as we knew people would love him as much as we do.” He goes around in his little electric car – a Mercedes SLK.

“Because Alex loved the stroller so much, we thought a mini car would be a cool upgrade for him to attend a local event in. So, we got him a Mercedes SLK and he even learned how to use it pretty fast,” Kei said.

As Alex grew in size, the couple bought a G-Wagon worth $4,500 and it runs on two e-bike batteries.

Therapy bunny is a social media star

It’s not only about a fluffy Alex riding an electric car in the city that’s earned him celebrity status, but he’s helping a lot of people just like his owners who have been long-time volunteers themselves.

The hare goes to hospitals to make sick people feel better and even airports to calm nervous flyers.

His presence alone is enough to fill people’s hearts with joy. No wonder he boasts thousands of followers on Instagram and TikTok.

He goes by the handle alex.thegreat100 on Instagram and TikTok, where you can find some of the most adorable videos and photos of Alex that one couldn’t get enough of.
