It’s a lucky day to be a pasta lover as the Bob Evans brand has launched a competition where 14 winners will receive a year’s supply of Mac & Cheese.

While most of us might struggle with portioning it, that hasn’t stopped the masses from declaring pasta as one of the most elite food choices on the planet. With so many variations and enough sauce options to keep you busy for decades, pasta really is the king of carbohydrates.

How to win a year’s supply of Mac & Cheese

The official Mac & Cheese Day is on July 14 and to celebrate the occasion, Bob Evans is giving away a year’s supply of their Mac & Cheese. Just don’t tell Pasta Queen, as we are yet to hear her verdict on Mac & Cheese.

Bob Evans is the number 1-selling refrigerated dinner brand in America, with their Macaroni & Cheese now available in 34,000 stores. By their own estimates, their box of Mac & Cheese can be found in six million households nationwide, with 74 pounds of the pasta eaten every minute. Annually, 39 million pounds are allegedly consumed.

“Few dishes have captured our hearts and taste buds like macaroni and cheese,” said Ciare James, vice president of brand marketing at Bob Evans Farms in a press release. “To commemorate this national holiday, we’re gifting 14 lucky winners with a year’s supply of this iconic comfort food. Ready in just minutes and full of flavor this is the ultimate reward for any true macaroni and cheese lover.”

Currently, the brand sells two varieties of Mac & Cheese, the first being the traditional variety in either family or single servings. The second, the Six Cheese Pasta, is the “adult” version of their Mac & Cheese with Monterey jack, provolone, reduced- and regular-fat pepper jack, and mozzarella.

Entering the competition to win your year’s supply of Mac & Cheese is actually really simple, and it only requires the phone you’re reading this article on.

To enter, follow Bob Evans (@bobevansgrocery) on Instagram or Facebook and comment on the National Mac and Cheese Day giveaway post with your favorite thing about the cheesy dish. Participants are also encouraged to tag the “mac to their cheese.”

Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on July 15, 2024.
