How you can try Samsungs Galaxy AI on an iPhone

Following the launch of its Galaxy AI earlier this year, Samsung is giving iPhone users the chance to try it out for free.

Whether you think artificial intelligence is a helpful tool or its mass adoption is reminiscent of the start of an apocalyptic sci-fi movie, AI technology is here to stay. But if youre on the fence about it and want to test out how it could transform the way we use our phones, youre in luck.

How you can try Galaxy AI on iPhone

While Samsung may have launched its Galaxy AI on its new S24 series of smartphones, the Korean company is letting iPhone users try out the new tech for themselves.

This is done through a special web app that you can add as a bookmark to your iPhones home screen – it wont actually install anything on your phone.

Heres how to try it out:

  1. Head to the Try Galaxy website on Safari or scan the QR code below with your iPhones camera.
  2. Tap the Share button when you have the website open on Safari.
  3. Select Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add.
  5. The Try Galaxy web app will now appear on your iPhones home screen.
  6. Open the app and give it a try.

All of the Galaxy AI features you can try

For an iPhone user, opening the Try Galaxy web app may feel a little strange at first as the app simulates the experience of using a Samsung Galaxy S24.

Once the app is open, you can test out a number of AI features in the various apps within the simulated Samsung.

These include:

  • Live Translate
  • Note Assist
  • Chat Assist
  • Photo Assist
  • Circle to Search with Google
  • Advanced camera tools including Nightography

It should be noted that the performance of the Galaxy AI web app may differ depending on the model of device youre using and the strength of your internet connection. It was a little janky when we tested it out but it was still an interesting experience.
