Whether its using a ring doorbell camera or making a personalized video from the big man for your kids, here are the best ways to make Christmas Eve more festive with videos.�
Using your Ring doorbell
Many children will be requesting to see Santa leaving their presents this year thanks ro the introduction of Ring doorbells up and down the country. You dont need to be stumped when this happens.
As reported by Tyla, one mom came up with a sneaky way to make it work, using the app Canva. You do need the premium features for this, but you can use a free trial.�
Start by taking a screenshot of your Ring doorbells view with the night sky in the frame. On Canva, select videos then mobile video. Click Create Blank before selecting Camera Roll and choosing your screenshot.
Click Add to Page, then the purple plus sign at the bottom left of the screen. Select Elements and search Santa sleigh black background. You can then choose whichever one you prefer.
Move the rectangle to the sky part of the image, making sure to cut it down to size. Edit the transparency so it appears more realistic. If the transparency is darker than the rest of the screen, add in a black rectangle to the rest of the screen and tone the transparency down so that it matches.
Save the video and it should appear as a Santa flying in the sky of your Ring doorbell.
