How to get the coveted Supreme x Burberry trench coat
Rumours surrounding a Supreme x Burberry collaboration have been circulating since January, but alas, it was confirmed by A$AP Nast via Instagram. The limited-edition Capsule Collection is due to be released in March 2022, containing an array of pieces including a rendition of Burberry’s classic trench coat.
The prospect of a trench coat made in collaboration with these well-known brands has fashion fans curious.
First peek at the trench coat
What we know so far is that the trench coat will be unisex. It will be available in tan, pink, and black, all with black leather collars. Each variation will have Burberry’s signature nova check pattern lined on the inside and both brands’ logos will also be embroidered on the back.
Unlike most Burberry trench coats that fall to the ankles, this collaboration has implanted a twist on their signature design. This trench coat will be short, designed to sit above the knee, somewhere on the thigh depending on the height of its wearer.
The coat will be made from gabardine fabric, which was originally created by Burberry’s founder, Thomas Burberry. Gabardine is a tightly woven material, made from a combination of smooth and durable fabrics, designed to be hard-wearing and rain resistant.

How to get the Supreme x Burberry trench coat
The Capsule collection will launch in the US, UK, and Europe on 10 March 2022 and will be available for purchase in stores and online. It will eventually move into other international markets.
The items in the collection will be split between the collaborators, Supreme will sell the trench coat, along with down puffer jackets, denim trucker jackets, T-shirts, bucket hats, and skateboards. Burberry will sell limited-edition pieces, including leather track jackets and trousers, and a silk pyjama set.
The price of the trench coat is yet to be announced.

Fans react to Supreme x Burberry collab
Supreme Leaks first shared a rumour of the collaboration to its 2.4 million followers back in January. Ever since the iconic collaboration between Supreme and Louis Vuitton in 2017 hype beasts have been calling for more.
When A$AP Nast confirmed the collaboration ahead of Burberry’s London unveil of its 2022 Autumn/Winter collection, fans took to social media to share their reactions.
One person commented on Supreme’s Instagram post: “This is easily the best collab Supreme has done in the past 5 years for me. Too much heat.”
Another said: “As simple as this collab is its still nice af. Casual flex pieces.”

Over on Burberry’s page, a fan commented: “a collab we never saw coming.”
