As National Pancake Day is here, Denny’s and IHOP are giving away free pancakes to feast on before the Lent begins on February 14, 2024.
Also known as Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday lets you enjoy fatty food before giving up on meat and other luxury items in the days leading to Easter. So, here’s your chance to enjoy a hearty meal for free or at a discounted price on National Pancake Day.
How to get free pancakes at Denny’s and IHOP in 2024
Denny’s
Customers can get two free buttermilk pancakes by purchasing an entr�e on February 13 at participating restaurants. The offer is open from 5 A.M to 5 P.M.
Each person is eligible for only one short stack (two pancakes) and you cannot combine the freebie with any other offer. Only dine-in customers get the free pancakes.
If a short stack doesn’t fill your tummy, then go for Denny’s All Day Diner Deals – All You Can Eat Pancakes starting at $5.99.
IHOP
You can grab a free stack of pancakes at IHOP from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. on Tuesday as the diner continues to extend its support for people suffering due to scarcity of food.
You need to make a $1 donation at IHOP in New York and New Jersey to receive the freebie, which is limited to one per customer. Each $1 donated will feed 10 people.
The hours may vary with different locations, so call your nearest branch before making a stop.
Get hitched for free on Valentine’s Day
You can get married at no cost on Valentine’s Day by being among one of the ten couples to reserve a spot at Denny’s Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, 450 Fremon Street, between 9 A.M. and 5 P.M. on Valentine’s Day.
You will receive a complimentary wedding package that comes with an officiant, music, decor, and a Pancake Puppies Cake in addition to a bacon bouquet and a champagne toast.
The restaurant wedding chapel is available throughout the year if you aren’t able to hitched on February 14. The wedding package on other days will cost you $199.
