How to blend your 2021 Spotify Wrapped with your music loving friends
By now, you have probably seen your 2021 Spotify Wrapped as you reflect on your music choices over the past year.
But did you know there is a Spotify Wrapped Blend feature that allows you to compare your music taste with friends? Well, you do now!

What is Spotify’s 2021 Wrapped Blend?
The blend feature is new to Spotify Wrapped and allows you and a fellow Spotify user to collaborate on a playlist that features both musical preferences which you can both stream.
When you opt to blend your Spotify Wrapped with a friend as well as a new joint playlist, a slideshow comparing both users’ music tastes is also available.
The Spotify presentation displays your taste match score, the top shared genre you both listened to and an artist that connects you both:

How to blend your 2021 Spotify Wrapped
While the blend feature is new to Spotify Wrapped, it launched on the streaming service earlier this year. The process of creating a 2021 Wrapped Blend is similar to that of normal blended playlists.
Users will first have to visit the 2021 Wrapped page, which you can either access from your home section or on the search page. Once on the 2021 Wrapped section, under the title ‘2021 Wrapped: Blend’, there is a green icon with a plus in the centre which reads ‘Create a Blend’ below.
After tapping the icon, you will be taken to a page asking you to ‘Invite a friend.’ Once you tap invite, you can send an invite directly through Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger, etc. After the user the invite was sent accepts, a blended playlist will be available for you to both to listen to.
