Hold down TikTok Comment Button for crazy surprise which is blowing people’s minds
People are just discovering what happens when you hold down the TikTok comment button – a trick that’s ever so useful.
The secret feature has existed for years, but many are only just discovering it in 2024 and it’s leaving everyone dumbfounded.

When you press and hold down the comment button, four different emojis appear in a white bubble. These are reactions, allowing you to respond to the video with one of the symbols.
For me, the options are a yellow heart, smiley face, heart face and laughing face, but they vary between accounts depending on your most-used emojis.
To react, all you have to do is click on the emoji you want to use. Then, the comment button will change to the selected symbol, showing you have used it.
After that, the emoji will automatically appear three times in a TikTok comment. To remove it, just hold down on the comment and tap ‘Delete’.

Many are only just discovering the comment button trick in 2024, and it’s leaving social media users baffled.
One person wrote on TikTok: “I was today years old when I found out what happens when you hold the comment button.”

Hold the Share and Like buttons too
Another secret thing happens when you hold down the share button too, which is the arrow symbol to the right of the video. It will come up with four bubbles again, but this time they aren’t emojis. The first one is the yellow repost button.
Then, you will see three different profile pictures which belong to the friends you interact with most on TikTok. If you click on one, the TikTok you are watching will be sent to that friend, so it’s just a quicker way of sharing.
When you hold down the like button, which is the heart symbol, the video will start playing in 2x speed too.
