Taco Bell fans can experience the taste of the fast food joint’s meal from their home with the help of a meal kit introduced in Walmart.
What is included in the Taco Bell meal kit?
Taco Bell has introduced two meal kits – Crunchwrap Supreme�and�Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla. These will be sold at Walmart nationwide and online.
The meal kit comes with tortillas, tostada shells, sauces, and seasonings. You can add your choice of protein such as chicken, beef, tofu, or anything else.
However, if you want to make a perfect Crunchwrap Supreme, Taco Bell suggests you use 1 pound of lean ground beef, sour cream, chopped lettuce, diced fresh tomatoes, and cooking spray for the pan. Meanwhile, for the quesadilla, it is best to go with two cups of cooked chicken, some three-cheese shredded blend, onions, and pepper.
How much does it cost?
The meal kit is for $6.98 each. As per reports, the idea to introduce a meal kit came after coming across videos of social media users creating their variant of Taco Bell menu items and sharing it on TikTok, Instagram, and others.
Danielle Coopersmith, associate director of marketing for Taco Bell at Home, said that “cooking kits allow fans to make Taco Bell their way. Our innovation strategy focuses on creating new products inspired by beloved Taco Bell classics that encourage fans to customize their at-home creations and take them to new heights.
Speaking about why they chose Crunchwrap Supreme to turn into a meal kit, the company said it is “the most iconic menu item in Taco Bell’s history,” while the quesadilla “was one of Taco Bells best-selling menu items in 2023, and the chipotle sauce adds a kick to the comforting and consistent classic.”

Will more products be introduced in the future?
Yes! Alan Kleinerman, Kraft Heinz’s vice president of disruptive innovation acknowledged that there were ideas to introduce more products as meal kits.
He said: “Were focused on finding the white spaces at retail where we can make an impact for fans and develop products we know they will be excited to try. Our partnership with Taco Bell is a great example of this.” At the moment, it is unclear what these menu items might be.
