Burger King fans are going on and on about the Fiery Fish Sandwich, and many have figured out that it tastes even better if you add a commonly used topping.

The fast-food restaurant added the fish sandwich to its menu on Valentine’s Day, marking the beginning of Lent, during which Christians abstain from eating meat on certain days.

‘Best topping’ on Burger King’s Fiery Fish Sandwich

Several TikTok users tried the Fiery Fish Sandwich by Burger King in the last 10 days before sharing their reviews. ‘

With some calling it the “big cousin” of the signature Filet-o-Fish, the latest version is “spicier, crunchier and juicier.”

The new sandwich comes with a fillet patty made of pure-bred Wild Alaskan Pollock, according to Mashed. It’s topped with a variety of pickles, tartar sauce, and Burger King’s pepper spicy glaze.

TikTok users noted that the bun doesn’t get soggy, despite the generous amount of sauce used on the inside.

While most of them branded the Fiery Fish Sandwich as the “best” of all the other fish sandwiches they’ve tried, some think it tastes better with a cheese topping. For those who find it too spicy, the cheese can balance the flavors out.

Some users claim to have paid $6.49 per Fiery Fish Sandwich but the price may vary with different locations.

Unlike other restaurants that have made their fish sandwich available exclusively for Lent, Burger King hasn’t revealed if the Fiery Fish Sandwich is a limited-edition special.

The Fiery Fish Sandwich is met with impressive reviews, from its texture to its taste. If you’re planning it try it out yourself, these comments should help.

“This is so good!! Absolutely 10/10.” read one comment.

Another added: “The Fiery Fish is actually bomb tho!”

“I’m not the biggest BK fan, but one thing I do like is their fish sandwich. So good,” wrote a third user.

Another added: “I tried it. It was so good. I got extra pickles and topped it with cheese.”
