Ex-marine saw an ‘Octagonal UFO’ as big as a football field with ‘scales’ all over
Former marine Michael Herrera broke his silence surrounding an alleged UFO encounter that took place in Indonesia and revealed shocking details about the craft he claims to have seen years ago.
The alleged sighting reportedly occurred in 2009, when the former officer was posted to a foreign country on a Navy humanitarian mission during the Sumatra earthquake and tsunami. However, among all the supposed witnesses of the aerial sighting, only Michael came forward with his story.

Former marine allegedly saw a massive UFO with ‘scales’
Michael claimed that he and his men were stationed at an airdrop point outside the city of Padang to collect aid supplies when they saw an “octagonal craft” hovering over them.
The marines had to hike 900 feet to get to the point and take their positions for the incoming supply when an unidentified object emerged from the other side of the hill in the jungle.
“I could see something moving and rotating. It was changing colors between a very light matte gray to a very dark matte black,” he claimed.

He further said the alleged craft was massive and was about the size of a football field. The body of the craft was apparently covered with scales all over, which looked man-made to the marine.
“Nothing on it was smooth. It had some panels on the vertical edges that were like Vantablack,” he said.
He claims the ‘craft’ was used to load weapons
Michael went on record to say the strange craft was used to load military weapons, and he and his men were told to remain discreet about it.
“When the last two trucks finished unloading and drove off, the lower part of the platform rose off the ground to about 10 feet and the craft lowered to meet it and it came together into one piece,” he claimed.
After moving past the trees, the flying object zoomed towards the ocean at around 4,000 mph.
Michael claims he captured the images of the supposed UFO on a Panasonic phone, which he claims went missing a few days later. He had gone drinking with his colleague when they were docked at Subic Bay in the Philippines and when he returned, the battery of his camera along with its memory card had been removed and the phones of his five comrades were missing too.
So, he didn’t have any physical evidence to produce at the time of his interview. He decided to go public with his story after the new UFO Whistleblower Protection Act came into place.
