Easy and declicious lasagne soup recipe is taking the work out of fall meal planning
Searches are up for lasagne soup recipes this week as foodies do away with complicated dishes for fall, instead opting for a hearty and easy deconstructed pasta dish.
Say what you want about social media, but it’s a great place to find inventive recipes that hone you’re food craft. Beware though, it’s also home to hacks like the nasty fluffy scrambled eggs.

Lasagne soup recipes are relatively easy and healthy
As the seasons transform and the weather plunges to practically Arctic temperatures, it’s time to switch out your summer iced tea recipes for something heartier and more filling.
Though pasta is always a solid option, and some recipes are relatively quick, not everyone has the time to make fresh pasta and carefully lay sheets between a homemade sauce. Enter the lasagne soup, a dramatically easier approach to a filling pasta meal.
Perhaps the most popular recipe on TikTok, which musician SZA demanded herself, comes from pasta aficionado Danny (@dannylovespasta). His video has racked up over 10 million views.
“It’s one of those dishes that you can throw together on a weeknight and it always tastes great,” he said, combining olive oil, white onion, ground beef, and Italian sausage in a pan.
You then add in your marinara sauce, whether store-bought or homemade, alongside broken-up lasagne sheets. To top it off, Danny added generous helpings of parmesan, mozzarella, and basil.
Another recipe, this time from Here’s Your Bite (@heresyourbite) racked up close to 30 million views. While the base of the soup was the same as Danny’s, they added heavy cream and beef stock for a thinner, more soup-like texture. They also added ricotta, adding to the hearty feel of the fall and winter soup.
For vegetarians and vegans, chefs recommended swapping out the meat products for a combination of beans and lentils, both of which are packed with protein. Though the veggies will still add a glug of heavy cream and cheese, vegan foodies should replace them with their favorite substitutes.
Some have said it’s sensory overload
As is the case with internet content like the viral chia seed drink, lasagne soup has been a topic of contention for some time. Some have argued that it’s not soup at all, while others have claimed it’s sensory overload with the floating pasta, meat, and veggies.
“This isnt lasagna soup its deconstructed lasagna lasagna soup is actually soupy topped with ricotta,” one person wrote.
Another said: “So its basically just the lasagna hamburger helper but soupy got it&”
In contrast, another supported the dish with: “Lasagna soup is good I dont know why people dont eat it or get turned off by it good job.”
