Coca-Cola launching fruity new flavor Orange Cream according to rumors
Coca-Cola is rumored to be launching a brand new flavor called Orange Cream, due to arrive at retailers across America early next year.
It comes just weeks after speculation that 7 Up is launching a new soda too, a festive flavor for the holidays that’s inspired by a famous mocktail.
New Coca-Cola flavor Orange Cream
The news was announced by the Instagram accounts Snach with Zach and Team Supernova, who share all the latest food releases across America.
It’s a fruity flavor similar to Coca-Cola Lemon or Lime, combining the classic taste of cola with a splash of orange. However, the word “cream” hints that this will be an even sweeter soda, perhaps with a hint of vanilla.
The pair claimed the drink will be available in full and zero sugar versions and is arriving nationwide in January 2025.

It’s not clear whether this will be a limited-edition release or a constant addition to the Coca-Cola lineup, but Snach with Zach said that as it’s a more summery flavor being released in the winter, he guesses it will be “permanent”.
Soda replaces Coca-Cola Orange Vanilla
Many are speculating that the flavor will taste similar to a previous Coca-Cola flavor called Orange Vanilla. However, it is speculated to be a new formulation.
“They have explicitly stated it is new and different from Orange Vanilla. We don’t know what that difference is yet though,” Team Supernova claimed in a comment.
Coca-Cola Orange Vanilla launched in February 2019 across the US but was discontinued in cans and bottles in March 2022, possibly due to low sales.
It remained as a Coca-Cola Freestyle flavor, meaning it was on the brand’s touch screen soda fountains which allow you to mix Coca-Cola branded drinks together.
However, the Instagram foodie said it has now been discontinued as a Freestyle flavor in 2024, perhaps to make way for the new Orange Cream edition.
‘Orange Cream sounds yummy!’
People are really excited about the rumored new flavor, with one person commenting: “Orange Cream sounds yummy!”
“I loved Orange Vanilla so hopefully this one lives up! The only change I could really see would be adding more vanilla,” said another.
A third added: “I don’t care what its called Orange Cream or Orange Vanilla as long as it tastes the same we good.”
“When they took away Orange Vanilla Coke, it broke my heart but this should make up for it,” someone else said.
GRV Media and The Focus have reached out to Coca-Cola for comment.
