Chef teaches followers how to make the Raising Canes sauce in comfort of their home

If you’ve ever wondered how to make the iconic sauce from Raising Canes, then look no further than chef, mum, and content creator, Kat Clark.

Each fast food joint tends to have a few items that cement it as a leading brand in America. For McDonald’s, it’s undoubtedly the Big Mac, while for Subway, it’s the array of footlong bread options. For Raising Canes, the land of chicken fingers, it’s the sauce.

Fast food restaurants will pay $20 minimum wage.

How to make the Raising Canes sauce at home

Earlier this month chef Kat Clark (@Katclark) posted a video for her 6.2 million followers on TikTok, earning her 5.6 million views and nearly 800k likes.

To make the chicken, Kat soaked her fingers in buttermilk for four hours in the fridge. After the chicken’s marination time was over, she breaded it with a mixture of flour, pancake mix, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and a “heap” of pepper. She then fried the chicken fingers up and placed them on a piece of kitchen towel to soak up the remaining oil.

Moving onto the sauce, Kat combined 3/4 of a cup of mayonnaise with 1/4 of a cup of ketchup, 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire, a teaspoon of garlic powder, and a lot of black pepper.
