Early reviews have been mixed for Burger King

Since its release, Burger King’s Bacon Candied Whopper has been on the minds of Americans across the nation. Naturally, reviews have been mixed, but the buzz is definitely there.

In a review posted on YouTube, content creator The Fluffy Bearded Man explained: It starts sweet, comes in smoky and ends with a kick. Not spicy, just ends with a kick.

Wow. The creamy garlic aioli gives a good base on the meat. The crunchiness from the bacon and the onions give it that onion ring crunch, he added, clearly enjoying it. The jam tastes almost BBQ.

On his own YouTube account, Daym Drops tucked into the burger with passion, only to be let down.

Explaining his thoughts on the inclusion of the sweet bacon jam, he said: It overpowers it. Thats all you taste. The bacon jam, and the candied bacon. The beef, almost nonexistent.

He further suggested that Burger King make the Whopper spicy, as it might be able to fight the sweet bacon jam.
