British man outrages Americans after sharing his ‘top 3’ US foods
There is no denying that America has some amazing food, but a British man is getting roasted after sharing his top three picks.
Josh rose to fame on TikTok for sharing videos that compare the UK vs USA, and Americans really arent happy with his choices.
British man’s ‘top 3’ American foods
“Im a Brit currently in America and here are my top three American foods,” he said.
3. Waffle House hash browns
Coming in at number three is hash browns, but not just any hash browns – the ones from Waffle House! He described them as absolutely incredible .�
They make hash browns differently across the pond, with grated potato that’s fried together in a skillet. In the UK, hash browns are more of a mashed potato inside a crispy shell.
2. Panda Express Orange Chicken
Second on the list is Orange Chicken from the Chinese-inspired food chain Panda Express, which he claimed is one of the greatest foods in America .
He knew he was going to rile some people up with this one, saying: “A lot of people are going to disagree with this one but thats fine but its one of my favourite foods alright. Period.”
Orange Chicken is the chain’s signature dish, consisting of crispy chicken wok-tossed in a sweet and spicy orange sauce.
1. Biscuits and gravy
And the top spot goes to… biscuits and gravy! The popular breakfast dish in the South consists of soft dough biscuits covered in a white gravy made from sausage drippings, flour, milk and bits of ground meat.�
I dont care what kind of gravy. I dont care what kind of biscuit. This right here is the greatest combination ever. This right here is up there with water and air, he said.
The dish doesn’t look very appetizing, but Josh claimed you have to “learn to like it” and will soon realize how great the dish actually is.
‘I can never take him seriously again’
In the comments, Americans are a little disappointed with two of his choices, especially the Orange Chicken.
One person wrote: “Orange chicken…. I can never take him seriously again ===.”
“Sir… the only one you are right about are the biscuits & gravy,” said another.
A third person added: “You’re wild for the Panda Express, the other ones are good but not the Panda bro.”
“Butchered #2 and #3,” someone else said.
Some other suggestions that people think should have made the list instead include New York pizza, Philly Cheesesteak, Gumbo and Texas BBQ.
However, they are happy that biscutis and gravy made the top spot, with someone saying it “will always be number one”.
“Biscuits and gravy for the win! =@ Totally agree, it’s a game-changer!” said another.
