Bob’s Burgers-themed Big Mac is fooling McDonald’s fanatics on TikTok

McDonald’s and Bob’s Burgers fans were beyond thrilled to see a Big Mac inspired by the American sitcom, only to realize the item they were frantically looking for was fake.

Google Trends saw a rise in search for the make-believe burger, skillfully created by TikTok user Xan to pull a prank on his followers. You won’t believe how many of them came to believe it as true.

TikTok user creates fake Big Mac inspired by Bob’s Burgers

All it took Xan was two TikTok videos and a photoshopped image to convince his followers that McDonald’s and Bob’s Burgers had come together for a new dish.

The prank began with a video he posted on Tuesday, February 20, as Xan said he was headed to McDonald’s to try the new Big Mac.

The background picture in the viral video depicted a special-edition box for the burger with characters from Bob’s Burgers printed on it. You can also see McDonald’s logo and BIG MAC written all over it.

Fans waited with bated breath until the follow-up video arrived, showing Xan at a supposed McDonald’s drive-through to place his order.

The video cuts to show the TikTok user holding a Bob’s Burgers Chibi in Motion Box, which can be bought on Amazon. He pulls a Tiger Teddy out of it the video concludes.

And no, there was no Big Mac in the video, but not all fans realized that soon enough.

Users look for the fake McDonald’s item

Except for the brown paper bag from McDonald’s, the other items shown in Xan’s video were collected from different sources.

However, a lot of his followers didn’t pay attention to it, it seems, as they took to Google to find the item that never existed.

“I googled for a good 2 minutes until I found out it wasnt real,” said one.

Another asked: “Is it even on the menu? I can’t find it.”

When more questions surrounding the fake Big Mac started to flood the comment section, Xan confirmed in his responses that it was only a prank.

When one user asked: “What city is this at”, Xan said: “I was trolling. Im sorry.”

Responding to another user who asked: “Is It real?”, The TikToker said: “No I was trolling and it went sideways.”
