Beyond Meat’s new vegan burger is their ‘most nutritious’ yet, and it arrives in Spring

The fourth generation of Beyond burgers is said to be ‘juiciest’ and ‘meatiest’ with ‘healthier’ oil and ingredients, which according to the company, “raises the bar for plant-based neat products”.

The vegan brand has introduced the new food product in an attempt to “lure” its customers back, and the Beyond Meat new burger will be available across the U.S. stores in Spring 2024.

Beyond Meat’s new burger uses avocado oil

The brand is taking pride in introducing its fast food counterpart – new plant-based product made with avocado oil, switching from using canola and coconut oil.

The company’s press release notes that the “healthier” oil reduces the saturated date by 60% to as little as 2 grams per serving.

Furthermore, it has 20% less sodium than its previous versions and an enhanced protein of up to 21 grams per serving.

The revamped patties are made with ingredients from brown rice, peas, red lentils, and faba bean – a perfect meal for health-conscious people.

The new burger is reportedly the result of years of research effort in “collaboration with leading medical and nutrition experts designed to meet the standards of top health organizations.”

Here’s what it doesn’t include

Naturally, consumers are curious to know more about the constituents of the burger that are healthier than its meat version.

Beyond Meat claims its fourth-generation burgers have “no added hormones and antibiotics” and “no soy, gluten or cholesterol.”

The new plant-based burger is created to be healthier than the regular fatty version, but as usual, meat lovers and vegans remain divided over it.

When one user said: “I can’t wait to enjoy the new burger guilt-free”, another said: “I prefer my burger with one ingredient: meat.”

“I’ll only eat a real burger”, said one, when another added: “Looking forward to a better nutritional profile! I’ve been eating less and less processed burgers lately because of this.”

Beyond Meat’s official YouTube channel features a teaser showing the making of the new burgers if you’re curious to learn more.
