TikTok is enjoying some drama unfolding online as the Royal Caribbeans Ultimate World Cruise set sail for its 9-month cruise.

What is the 9-month cruise?

The Royal Caribbean Ultimate World Cruise has earned itself the name of “9-month cruise” on social media platforms like TikTok and Twitter.

The cruise is set to take its passengers to 60 countries across all seven continents. The journey began on December 10 and is said to have four legs to it. These are The Americas (Dec. 10 to Feb. 11), Asia Pacific (Feb. 11 to May 9), the Middle East and the Mediterranean (May 9 to July 10), and Europe & Beyond (July 10 to Sept. 10).

Passengers have the option to join any part of the tour or take part in all of it. The cheapest ticket for it was $59,999 per person.

The cruise is incomplete without drama

The cruise became the talk of the town on social media as people found it hard to believe how one could survive on a ship for nine months. Right from couples fighting in the hallways to children becoming restless, there have been many instances shared online.

TikTok star Marc Sebastian, who has a social media following of 1.7 million, is among the passengers and has been documenting his journey. In it, he confessed that there have been times when there was a lack of bottled water, canceled excursions, long waiting lines, restricted access to laundry rooms, and many more.

Marc even suggested that he was ready to go home. Seeing such videos online, the internet can’t get enough of the drama.

Social media wants it as a reality show

Seeing all the chatter online, some are convinced that the entire content seen on the 9-month cruise would make an amazing reality show drama. One user wrote: “Why isnt this being filmed?” “Little do y’all know this about to be a reality TV show,” read one more comment.

“Feels like a social experiment,” expressed a user. “They really missed the mark not sending a camera crew with them. This would be prime reality TV,” thought another. “They should make it into a reality show,” suggested one more.

“Its giving Total&Drama&WORLD TOUR!!!!!” one joked. “This is my kinda drama&.,” wrote one more.
