What is CosMc?

Named after the chains alien mascot from back in the 80s, CosMC breaks away from burgers and into the sugary drinks market in its new restaurant menu. Experts have said that McDonalds is trying to target the TikTok generation with its menu and colourful marketing, and it might just be working.

The first store opened up back on December 7, and despite only being open for three weeks, it doubled the tripled foot traffic of McDonalds, said Pacer.Ai.

Where is the CosMc location?

The new addition to the fast food market is currently operating out of one location, Bolingbrook, Illinois. The store is open from 6 am to 8 pm and is notably smaller than most McDonalds restaurants.

If you are nowhere near Bolingbrook and just dying to give CosMc a try, then dont fear. Since the launch of its first restaurant, McDonalds has shared its hope to open 10 eateries across the US by the end of 2024.

While the chain wont be catering to the same crowd as McDonalds, choosing instead to head into the drinks market, they are still offering a selection of delectable treats.

The highlight of the resturant menu is undeniably the Signature Galactic Boosts from CosMc. These currently come in four flavours; Sour Cherry Energy Bursts, Berry Hibiscus sour-ade, Blueberry Ginger Boost and Island Pick-me-up Punch.

CosMC is also offering a range of iced teas and lemonade, including more traditional tastes like green tea, black tea, half and half, and sweet tea. On the fancier side, you can sip on Sour Tango Lemonade, Tropical Spice-ade, and Blackberry Mint Green Tea.

Their frappe range includes; Chai Frappe Burst, Popping Pear Slush, Pomegranate Hibiscus Slush, Churro Cold Brew Frappe, and a Cold Brew Frappe.

The brand also has enough hot teas and coffees to rival the likes of Starbucks. Most of them also come in the iced variety.

On the food side, CosMc customers can expect the traditional McDonalds McMuffins, McFlurrys, and Sundaes. Or perhaps dig into their newly released Spicy Queso Sandwich and Creamy Avocado Tomatillo Sandwich.
