Adele’s floor-length sparkling black gown is a custom Louis Vuitton piece designed by French designer Nicolas Ghesquière.
Adele’s stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, shared a close up of the dazzling number to Instagram, which sees the jewels featured on the dress sparkling effortlessly in the light:

Who is Nicolas Ghesquière?
Nicolas Ghesquière is currently known as the artistic director of women’s collections at Louis Vuitton, a role he has worked since 2013.
Ghesquière has designed as part of a number of luxury brands, having had his start with Jean Paul Gaultier in 1991 as a design assistant.
The designer went on to join Balenciaga in 1995 and two years later was appointed the brand’s creative director. Ghesquière worked as part of Balenciaga for almost two decades before starting at Louis Vuitton.

Nicolas Ghesquière notable looks explored
Some may be familiar with Nicolas Ghesquière’s work through the Swedish artist Robyn as in 2019, Ghesquière designed a custom gown for the singer’s Ever Again music video. The piece featured puffed sleeves with fabric draped which Robyn is seen to dance with, in the video:
One of Ghesquière’s more recent custom looks was for Nicole Kidman for the Golden Globes awards. According to Satchel, the black gown with gold chain detailing took over 450 hours to create. Take a look at the piece below:
