3 things narcissists do when they are alone

The Bat Wolf is a “diagnosed narcissist” with borderline personality disorder, using his social media channels to discuss all possible aspects of the antisocial personality type.

Narcissists are con artists and it’s next to impossible to decipher their moves and actions. However, a self-aware narcissist discusses what goes on in his mind when he’s alone that prompts him to do things that normal people find “exhausting” or unnecessary.

They are on dating sites

Narcissists can never get enough attention and validation from their main supply, which makes them look elsewhere – usually dating apps.

The Bat Wolf says your narcissistic partner is most likely chatting up with others on dating apps or keeping themself occupied with adult content in your absence, which you may never get to know.

Don’t expect them to feel guilty upon getting caught because you’re only going to be blamed for their inappropriate actions.

They are looking for a new target

Every narcissistic relationship comes with an expiration date. Either you lose value in their eyes as a supply or you’ll decide to leave when the realization finally strikes.

The lack of validation and constant energy directed toward a narcissist makes them look for new supplies on social media who will be subjected to all the stages of a typical narcissistic relationship all over again.

They resort to substances

Even if not all, most narcissists resort to addictive or illegal substances to deal with their anxiety and constant need for validation.

When they don’t get what they want from fellow humans, mainly because they suck the life out of you leaving you with nothing more to offer, narcissists turn to alcohol, drugs, or retail therapy to feel good about themselves.

The Bat Wolf explains: “The thing with narcissists is that they are always needing some kind of supply, attention, or validation. They even feel like they aren’t an actual person unless somebody else is telling them they are a good person (or that) they exist.”

If you’re in a narcissistic relationship or suspect your partner or even a parent of being a narcissist, it’s highly recommended to find the right support system to protect your sanity and overall well-being.

You can seek advice from a licensed therapist, or a psychologist, or learn more about the mental condition through different resources to stay safe while dealing with a narcissist.
