12 foreign fast food products that America needs, right now

While there are enough fast food choices in America to last a lifetime, it turns out that foreign options are far more exciting.

Popular fast food chains like McDonalds, Subway and KFC are known to tailor their products to a specific region. Sometimes, they are then released more widely depending on their initial success. Unfortunately, most of the time, they will never touch American shores. But that doesnt mean you cant fantasise about them.

“Our kimchi quesadilla is very popular in South Korea and fitting for what our customers and the culture of that market are looking for,” Taco Bell spokesperson Alec Boyle told Business Insider. “It is not as reflective of what our consumers here in the states are looking for when they come to Taco Bell.”

For those of you who havent had the pleasure of tasting Kimchi, its traditionally fermented vegetables in a coating of Korean chilli powder and various other flavourings.

Shrimp Donuts: KFC Thailand

While it might be better to describe this product as a shrimp onion ring, there is no denying the brilliance of the concept.

The US market is seriously missing the opportunity to combine fish products and fast food.

Chizza: KFC Sinagapore

Weve arguably saved the best for last, as the Chizza combines both Kentucky fried chicken and a pizza into one extremely eatable dish.

In a review on Presented by P, it was described as filling and a great option for those wanting chicken-cheese fix minus the burger.

What I liked was the fact that the chicken is well-cooked, moist and juicy, with a good deal cheese on it, they added.
