Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has shaken the game up with its Warzone expansion, bringing Battle Royale to the famed series. If you’re struggling with Plunder in Call of Duty: Warzone, here are some tips to get you in contention:
Play with friends
When you can, play with friends – even the ones you don’t like. Being in touch with all three party members massively boosts your chances. Communication is key.
First to the chopper wins
When dropping in, identify helicopters on the map and try to get as many as you can. Getting around the map quickly can make all the difference.
Fly away
When entering the map, check the line of flight for the aircraft. Try to head for the area furthest away from the flight path. If the aircraft is flying across the left side of the map, over the dam, head for the quarry. It will be a lonely place where you can bag cash quickly.
Contracts + Choppers = Table toppers
If you can grab a helicopter or two, the world’s your oyster when it comes to contracts. Fly straight out to the nearest Scavenger contract and you’ll complete it in no time, picking up dough from each loot box and the reward at the end.
Cash drops + Helicops = Table tops
Another reason choppers are so useful. As soon as a cash drop is announced, have a look at the flight path – it will give you an idea of where to head. With two or more choppers you can have two team-mates in one chopper heading for the nearest drop and a lone member heading for the most remote, and therefore safest, drop. Get in and out quickly and effectively.
Rig a bomb
This is an incredibly effective way to wipe out a whole team. Before you get into a vehicle, stick a C4 on it. Just one will do. Then, if you find yourself in a pursuit or firefight, jump out near your enemies and detonate.
You can also use this as a booby trap. Leave a rigged-to-blow car or chopper next to a cash deposit helipad and explode it when people get close. Alternatively, wait for them to jump in to make their escape, then blow it.
