Here’s a round-up of the latest West Ham United transfer news.

Earlier this week we reported on West Ham’s links to Mikel Oyarzabal, Darius Olaru, Andy Delort and Gaetan Laborde among others.

Our West Ham transfer update features the latest rumours circling the club.

Possible signings

Youssef En-Nesyri

West Ham are set to increase their bid for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri, according to the Daily Star.

The Hammers saw a £22.5 million offer for the Moroccan, which rose to £27 million in add-ons, rejected.

The Star states the new bid would be an initial £25 million, with the fee rising to £32 million depending on the striker hitting targets such as goals and appearances.

However, the Spanish side may look for more money on the table rather than relying on add-ons.

Giovanni Simeone

Cagliari striker Giovanni Simeone is a target for West Ham, according to Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Argentine is seen as a potential successor to Sebastien Haller, who joined Ajax this month for £20.25 million.

Simeone is the son of Atletico Madrid boss Diego and provided 14 goals and four assists in 38 league appearances for Fiorentina in 2017-18.

Last season, Simeone scored 12 goals and provided four assists in 37 Serie A matches for Cagliari.

The forward was linked with Leeds United in the summer transfer window but Tuttomercatoweb reported the bid didn’t leave enough time for Cagliari to find a replacement.

This time, however, former West Ham striker Simone Zaza, now at Torino, could be the man to replace Simeone, easing the way for the Irons.

Onyekuru has struggled to cement a starting place at the Ligue 1 outfit, making just four appearances this campaign.

Sabah suggests the Hammers will face competition from Galatasaray and Fenerbahce for the striker’s signature.

The Nigerian has spent two separate loan spells at Galatasaray, scoring 17 goals and providing eight assists in 56 matches.

Possible departures

Felipe Anderson

West Ham midfielder Felipe Anderson is a target for Fiorentina, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Brazilian is currently on loan at Porto but has been unable to cement a regular place in the starting XI.

He has now emerged as a target for La Viola, albeit as second choice to Spartak Moscow’s Aleksandr Kokorin.

Anderson has played in Italy before for Lazio and could be tempted by a return to Serie A.

Ones who got away

Patson Daka and Olivier Giroud

The Guardian reports West Ham’s pursuit of Patson Daka and Olivier Giroud is all but over.

The Mirror suggested Daka was being lined up as a successor for Haller, while Eurosport reported Chelsea’s Giroud was more likely to sign for the Hammers.

It appears both options are now unlikely.
