Here’s a round-up of the latest transfer news surrounding Tottenham Hotspur.
Earlier this week we reported on Spurs’ links to Leon Bailey and Sergio Ramos among others.
Here’s today’s transfer news and gossip from the Tottenham camp.
Potential signings
‘The Monster’ Kim Min-jae
The Mirror reports that Tottenham Hotspur will battle the likes of Chelsea, for Beijing Guoan’s 24-year-old centre-back Kim Min-jae.
The 6ft 3in defender, dubbed ‘The Monster’, has a contract until June and Spurs will be eager to pip their London rivals in the race for the South Korean.
Chelsea hijacked Tottenham’s deal for current Arsenal winger Willian and will be eager to get the deal over the line to prevent history from repeating itself.
Eder Militao
Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Real Madrid’s Eder Militao has grown significantly. This is according to reporter Tim Vickery on the Transfer Talk segment for Sky Sports (13/01/21 at 1:25 am).
Vickery suggested that reports native to Mourinho in Portugal, where Militao previously played, suggested the Portuguese tactician was ‘certainly interested’ in the Brazilian.
Deportes Cuatro suggest that Real Madrid are considering a loan option for the versatile centre-half.

Pau Lopez
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Tottenham’s chances of landing Pau Lopez have been boosted.
The ‘keeper originally signed from Real Betis for a reported £26.7m fee has seen his valuation lowered, following a drop in form. And Spurs could take advantage of the situation.
The Lilywhites are keeping tabs for a potential new number one, with Hugo Lloris linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain. However, they will face competition for Lopez from West Ham.

Marcel Sabitzer update
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano insists that any move for Tottenham target Marcel Sabitzer is unlikely to happen this month.
The midfielder has been heavily-linked with a transfer to north London, among other destinations, but Romano indicated Leipzig want to keep hold of the Austrian.
He also insisted that there had been nothing concrete in terms of negotiations.
Potential departures
Danny Rose
Tottenham’s out of favour full-back Danny Rose could be heading for a Spurs exit.
TalkSPORT indicate that there is a possibility the club will terminate the Englishman’s contract, paving the way for Rose to leave as a free agent.
Premier League strugglers West Brom are one of the potential destinations for the left-back, with Sam Allardyce keen on the defender.

Harry Winks
Harry Winks’ supposed interest from Valencia has all but ended, according to AS.
The Spanish side are instead keen to land London rivals’ Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira, currently on loan at Atletico Madrid.
Winks was the Spanish side’s priority, but the deal has found stumbling blocks, and it appears that any potential move has fallen through.
