Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood could both be sidelined with injuries this weekend, as reported by Talksport, leaving Manchester United with a new-look XI.

Rashford missed all three of England’s fixtures during the international break due to a shoulder problem.

Greenwood missed United’s last league game, which was a victory over Everton at Goodison Park, through illness.

Key players missing

Rashford is United’s top scorer this season with seven goals in all competitions, as well as three assists.

His injury could mean that veteran striker and summer signing Edinson Cavani could make his first Premier League start for the club against West Brom on Saturday.

Cavani scored his first goal for United in their 3-1 against Everton, which was their last fixture before the international break.

Greenwood did not make the matchday squad for their trip to Goodison through illness, and is likely to miss out this weekend too.

Alex Telles should be available for selection, despite testing positive for Coronavirus last month.

The Brazilian full-back has recently received a negative test result, which also makes him available for his country’s match against Uruguay this evening.

It is not clear if Paul Pogba or summer signing Donny van de Beek will start, as neither player started their last league fixture.

The only thing that is certain is that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to make some significant enforced changes to his starting XI.
