Tottenham face stiff competition from Premier League rivals to sign Joachim Andersen in the summer.

As per the Telegraph, Champions League chasers Manchester United and Leicester are both tracking the 24-year-old Dane.

Another Premier League club has also already put forward a serious proposal.

Andersen’s future will not be decided until the summer. At that point, we’ll know whether Fulham are still a top flight club.

That might influence Andersen’s future. There’s surely no way he would return to Fulham in the Championship.

Even if Scott Parker’s side stayed up, would the lure of European football turn his head?

There’s every chance and Andersen looks like an affordable and realistic option for Spurs in the summer.

His asking price is apparently £25 million and their financial situation as a result of the pandemic means they are willing to do business.

Tottenham still need a defensive organiser and leader and Andersen has shown he’s one of those in his time at Fulham.

Milan Skriniar and Jannik Vestergaard were two more names mentioned in connection with Spurs in recent days.

They are unlikely to break the bank for a new central defender in the current financial landscape.

It remains to be seen whether they take their interest in Andersen further this summer.
