West Ham, Newcastle United and Leicester City are all said to be in the hunt for Ivan Toney, according to The Sun.

Brentford’s leading man Ivan Toney is currently being watched by three different Premier League clubs, according to the latest report from The Sun.

The report also stated that Brentford would likely want a fee around £25 million for Toney.

Which in the modern world of football, isn’t really that much of a big price tag for either of these Premier League sides to pay for such a talented goal scorer.

The Championship side aren’t in the best position to negotiate hard either, with the Bees currently on a run of defeats lasting three matches, which could damage their promotion hopes.

However, Toney is contracted to the club until June 2025. Meaning that they’re not technically forced to move the striker on for at least a couple of years.

But it would seem unlikely that the 24-year-old will want to stay in the second-division after his impressive season so far.

Toney – tearing up the Championship this season

The Bees striker has been on fire in the second tier of English football this season.

Scoring a staggering 24 goals in 30 league outings, along with also getting nine assists for the Championship side.

The 24-year-old also has some leadership qualities, captaining his side against Reading in December.

Scoring goals has always been Toney’s strongest asset.

When at Peterborough, it was clear that the Englishman was destined for the highest level of football.

Toney scored 49 goals in 94 outings for the League One side and was rarely ever off the scoresheet.

It’s clear the forward is ready for the setup in class now, and any of the three sides linked with Toney look like a good place for him to be.
