Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos admits he’s had issues with his manager Steven Gerrard in the past but their relationship is good now.
In quotes picked up by the Scottish Sun, Morelos had only good things to say about Gerrard now.
Morelos was a crucial part of the Rangers squad which has just ended the wait for a Scottish title.
That success clearly means he’s settled at Ibrox and looking forward to continuing to work under Gerrard.
“I feel very happy here. We have a target now – the Scottish Cup – and the team have done very well in both the league and in Europe.
“Now I want to keep scoring goals and getting assists. Steven Gerrard is a legend and a great person. I have had difficulties with him, but we have fixed it. He showed confidence in me and I have responded.
“We have a nice relationship. I feel happy in Scotland. When we won the league everything was crazy. It was something very nice because people came out and enjoyed it. I am very proud to get the title.
“I am happy at Rangers and I want to win the Cup with them. If opportunities come up for me, we will analyse them.”
It seems that Morelos is prepared to spearhead Rangers’ attack as they look to build an era of dominance at Ibrox.
Of course, if a bumper offer came in for the Colombian, Rangers would consider it and Morelos could be tempted.
But he isn’t rocking the boat at the minute and his relationship with his manager seems flawless now.
