Liam Cooper has been speaking very highly of his teammate Jack Harrison after an impressive 2-1 win over Sheffield United on Saturday, when speaking to Leeds United’s official website.

Leeds United beat the Blades 2-1 after an own goal from Phil Jagielka and a goal from Jack Harrison.

The goal against Sheffield United has Harrison’s seventh of the season.

Harrison also has five Premier League assists to his name and is averaging 6.89 out of 10 Whoscored rating so far this season.

When speaking to Leeds United’s official website, Cooper was praising Harrison’s performances:

“Jack has been a different class.

“He went through a bit of a rough patch, but he’s got his head down and he works hard, nobody works harder than him at the training ground.

“I’m delighted for him today, he deserves that.”

Harrison vs Sheffield United

Harrison was the only Leeds United player to score on Saturday, with the other goal coming from one of the Blades’ own players.

 

The 24-year-old finished the match with a 7.5 out of 10 Whoscored rating and completed 75% of his passes.

This was the second-highest rating behind teammate Raphina, who finished with an impressive 8.2 out of 10 rating.

Harrison surprisingly also won the fourth-most aerial duels, winning two in total.

Oliver McBurnie won the most with a dominant eight aerial duel wins during the match.

Harrison’s stats so far this season

The Leeds United star already has seven goals so far this season and has played 29 Premier League matches.

Harrison has also managed to get five assists during these outings for the Whites.

Despite having a decent average Whoscored rating of 6.89 out of 10, Harrison has still managed to be named man of the match three times.

Meaning that when the 24-year-old does perform well, it’s usually an important performance.
