Here’s a round-up of the latest transfer news surrounding Leeds United.

Earlier this week we reported on the potential arrivals and departures at Elland Road.

Here’s an update on the latest transfer speculation involving Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Leeds United transfer update – possible signings

Marcos Paulo

Globo Esporte claims Fluminense are keen to sell teenager Marcos Paulo, with Leeds one of the clubs interested in securing his signature.

Paulo’s contract expires in the summer and the Brazilian club has given up hope of convincing him to sign an extension.

TEAMtalk reports Arsenal and West Ham are also keeping an eye on the youngster.

Sean McGurk

The club remains interested in Wigan Athletic’s Sean McGurk, Leeds correspondent Phil Hay has claimed on his podcast.

The 17-year-old is viewed as an exciting prospect. After signing Joe Gelhardt from Wigan in August, it seems Leeds are keen to add another Latics academy graduate this month.

Fikayo Tomori

Newcastle United appear more likely than Leeds to sign Chelsea centre-back Fikayo Tomori this month, according to The Athletic.

The England international has been linked with a loan move away from Stamford Bridge in January after struggling for playing time.

However, it’s believed Leeds don’t see signing a centre-back as a priority, which may leave the door open for Newcastle to make a move.

Rodrigo De Paul

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa has yet to decide whether to bid for Rodrigo De Paul this month or in the summer, according to The Sun.

Leeds were heavily linked with De Paul last summer but were reportedly put off by the asking price.

They remain keen on the Udinese midfielder. However, they may wait until the summer transfer window before making a further bid.

Sergio Romero

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero has already bid farewell to his teammates ahead of his expected departure this month, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Leeds were rumoured to be interested in the experienced Argentinian shot-stopper in the summer. Instead, United opted to keep Romero on their books.

However, with David de Gea and Dean Henderson clearly favoured options, it appears Romero is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford. This could see Leeds revisit the possibility of bringing Romero to Elland Road.

Tyler Roberts

A host of Championship clubs are interested in signing Leeds forward Tyler Roberts this month, according to the Daily Mail.

Roberts has featured in eight Premier League games this season. However, he has only started one match.

Bielsa is said to appreciate the versatility Roberts brings to the squad. Yet his lack of game time could see him leave the club this month.
