Here’s a round-up of the latest transfer news surrounding Liverpool.

Earlier this week we reported on Liverpool’s links to Adam Lewis, Dayot Upemacano, Nikola Maksimovic, Yves Bissouma and Loic Bade among others, plus the possible departure of one member of Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

Here’s more transfer news and gossip from the Reds camp.

Confirmed departure

Liverpool wing-back Adam Lewis has joined League 1 side Plymouth Argyle on loan for the rest of the campaign, the latter club has confirmed.

The 21-year-old has made just one senior Reds appearance, and had struggled for game time on loan at Amiens.

The loan spell with the Ligue 2 side was ended prematurely and he returned to his parent club, before joining Argyle.

Potential signings

Rodrigo De Paul

Liverpool have identified Udinese’s Rodrigo De Paul as a potential Georginio Wijnaldum replacement according to The Express.

Todofichajes reports that negotiations with the Argentine international have already begun, however, they may face competition from Leeds United.

The Whites were heavily linked with the 26-year-old, who was being monitored by compatriot Marcelo Bielsa.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos

Sokratis Papastathopoulos has reportedly been offered to Liverpool, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, the Italian mentioned that the Greek international had been linked with Genoa. He also revealed that Papastathopoulos had been offered the chance to reunite with former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp at the Reds.

Liverpool have plenty of defensive injuries this campaign and an experienced defender in the Gunners centre-back, would surely be a welcomed addition.

Yves Bissouma

FootMercato reports that Liverpool and Arsenal target Yves Bissouma is likely to remain at Brighton until at least the summer.

The Mali midfielder is being lined up as a potential replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum at the club.

Although, Football.London insists that the midfielder is more likely to join the Gunners, where his alleged close friends Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel play.

Renato Sanches

Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Lille midfielder Renato Sanches, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, the Italian mentioned that the Portuguese international had attracted interest from the Reds. However, he insisted that any potential move would likely occur in the summer.

The former Benfica starlet has seemingly found his impressive form of old, having had to respectively rebuild his career following an arguably premature move to Bayern and a loan spell to forget at Swansea City.

Ben White

The Liverpool Echo reports that Brighton’s Ben White is a serious defensive candidate for the Reds.

The Anfield club have struggled with injuries to key defensive players including Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip this season, and White would be ample replacement.

However, he won’t come cheap. The Mail suggest he could cost in the region of £50 million.

Possible exits

Yasser Larouci

The Express reports Leeds could sign Liverpool defender Yasser Larouci after the left-back rejected a new contract at the club.

The Algeria-born 20-year-old is out of contract in the summer so could leave for free in June.

The Reds may sell the defender now to put some money in their transfer pot.

Taiwo Awoniyi

Taiwo Awoniyi has caught the eye of Scottish giants Rangers and Celtic, according to 90Min.

The Old Firm rivals are set to battle for the 23-year-old Liverpool forward, currently on loan at Bundesliga side Union Berlin.

The reported valuation of the striker is a tender £5 million, with the Scottish contingent unlikely to pay anything higher.
