Here’s our latest Celtic transfer update.

Earlier this week we reported on the Hoops’ interest in Thomas Robert and Ben Pearson.

Let’s look at some more news from the Celtic camp.

Celtic transfer update – possible signings

Filip Benkovic

The Scottish Sun reports Celtic could make a bid for Leicester City centre-back Filip Benkovic.

The Croatian defender spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Celtic Park but has been unable to establish himself in the Leicester side since his return.

Benkovic was recently recalled from a loan spell at Championship club Cardiff City. Leicester manager and former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has described Benkovic’s possible return to Scotland as a “great move”.

Nathanael Mbuku

Celtic target Nathanael Mbuku will cost the club £7m if they are to sign him from French club Reims this month, according to FootMercato.

The teenage winger has been a regular starter in Ligue 1 this season, complementing in-demand forward Boulaye Dia.

Serie A side Parma are also keeping tabs on the youngster.

Celtic transfer update – possible departure

Odsonne Edouard

Former West Ham United midfielder Trevor Sinclair told talkSPORT he doesn’t believe the east London side will sign Odsonne Edouard this month.

Edouard has been in fine form for the Hoops this season, scoring seven goals in 15 appearances. Meanwhile, West Ham are in need of a striker following the recent departure of Sebastien Haller.

The 22-year-old Celtic forward is an option but Sinclair is unconvinced Moyes will turn to Edouard, at least not in this window.
