Possible departure

Odsonne Edouard

Defensa Central claims Spanish giants Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Odsonne Edouard.

The Celtic striker is very much in demand this month. And he could follow in the footsteps of former Celtic man Moussa Dembele, who made a loan switch to Atletico Madrid this month.

Real Madrid’s move comes amid the Athletic’s report that Celtic asked for at least £35m for the striker last summer.

Ones who got away

Lukas Nmecha

Celtic’s hopes of landing Lukas Nmecha on loan are fading, with the striker keen for a permanent deal at his next club.

The Daily Mail reports the Hoops want to sign the attacker on a temporary basis.

The 22-year-old has played for four different clubs on loan since 2018. He is currently on loan at Anderlecht from Manchester City.

Thomas Robert

Airdrie’s Thomas Robert won’t be making a move this month, according to the Daily Record.
